EUGENE, OR. WEEK 1.

Our first week in Eugene was cold, wet & rainy but SO pretty! Eugene is easily one of the most beautiful places we've ever been. Everything is so clean. All the yards are immaculate and covered in flowers. Even though it was cold and didn't feel like spring, it looked like spring! The rain is more of a mist but it does leave everything wet. Here are a few pictures from our first week in Eugene!

It's amazing to me that he will sit through a movie. He runs around like a crazy person every other second of the day. We turn on a movie and he doesn't move a muscle. :)

LAST WEEK IN UTAH (FOR A FEW MONTHS)

Our last week in Utah was hectic as always! We obviously want to say goodbye to as many people as we can since we won't see them for a while. We visited lots & had a lot of fun before we headed to Richfield for a couple days. We packed, cleaned, ran errands, loaded the car and we were on our way! In Richfield we spent a couple days visiting with family. After a few days there, we headed to SLC for a night. Sadly, Austin's 17 year old cousin passed away very unexpectedly. We were all heart broken and devastated. That is something that nobody should ever have to deal with, especially his loving parents. :( We went to the funeral & then headed from SLC to Ontario, OR where we spent one night. The next day we finished the drive and made it to beautiful Eugene. I can't even explain how beautiful it is. Anyways, here is some pictures from out last week in Utah.. for a few months at least. :)

EASTER

Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays! I love everything about it.. picnics, candy, Easter baskets, egg hunts, egg coloring, cadbury eggs, just everything. This year did not disappoint and like I have said a million times, the holidays are SO much more fun with little ones around. We celebrated in Richfield with both of our families. Saturday morning we went to the Richfield city Easter egg hunt. Camden had no interest in picking up any candy or eggs. He only wanted to play on the play ground. After, we went and got family pictures taken with Austin's whole family. I have great in-laws and love all of them. We then went to Clear Creek Canyon for a picnic with my family. All my years growing up, we went here on Easter day. We had a good lunch, hiked around, through eggs in the creek and played in the water a little. That night we had dinner at Austin's parents which was very yummy. Sunday morning we went to church with Austin's family and listened to his grandma sing. She did a great job and church is extra special on Easter. After church, we went back to my moms and had an egg hunt with all of my nieces and nephews. We juggled events with both families but we wouldn't want it any other way. We are so lucky to be able to go to both family events and to not have to choose one or the other. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter!

CAMS PRETEND 2ND BIRTHDAY! :)

On the Friday before Easter, we celebrated Camden's 2nd birthday because we knew we would be gone on his real birthday. We did a Blue's Clue's theme, my sister made a cute cake and it all turned out darling. He, on the other hand, was SUPER naughty. I think there was so much going on that he got confused and nervous, ha ha! He would not open his presents. He just sat there and cried. It was really embarrassing! I guess terrible twos start on the 2nd birthday.. even if its pretend. :) But, overall, it was a good day and we are lucky to have such wonderful family who came!!
