December has been such a fun month for us. But, it started out not too fun because Camden came home from daycare with the stomach flu. The poor little guy was throwing up for 3 days. He just layed around, cried, slept a ton, and would not eat his bottle. It was the saddest thing and everyday I wished it was me that was sick and not him. Finally after about 8 days, he was finally back to his smiley little self. We went to Christmas parties. Camden saw lots of different Santa's. Cam and I stayed in Richfield for almost a week before Christmas and then went back for 4 days to celebrate Christmas. We got to see sweet McKinlay get blessed, cute Kaylen play in his first piano recital, and spend lots of time with our families.

THANKSGIVING

This year for Thanksgiving we did the usual.. went to Richfield, had two thanksgiving dinners, went black Friday shopping (kind of), saw lots of friends and family, went to Breaking Dawn, and Austin played in the Turkey Bowl. We had a wonderful thanksgiving and I am very thankful for all the wonderful things I have in my life, especially my family & friends. Holidays are so much more fun with a little guy around. I can't wait for Christmas! :) My family had Thanksgiving at my grandparents house. Even though they are no longer alive, we thought it'd be fun to prepare and eat dinner at their house like we always did.

5 MONTHS

Camden is now 5 months old. I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. But, I love each new stage that he gets in to. He is so much fun and learns something new everyday. Camden went to the dr a couple days before he turned 5 months and this is what we learned:

WEIGHT: 15.1 LBS - 30%
HEIGHT: 26.18 IN - 71%
HEAD CIRC: 16.5 IN - 24%

So, he is STILL long and skinny. I swear I feed him, ha! In fact, he eats a ton. I even started him on rice & baby food at 4 months. He is just so active that he burns a ton of calories a day. He never sits still and he is constantly rocking back and forth. Here are some fun facts about sweet little Camden at 5 months:

- He is bald. Very bald. Well, I guess he does have a small patch in the back, haha!
- He rolls EVERYWHERE. If you put him on one side of the room, he'll roll clear over to the other side.
- He loves Austin's parents dog, Lou. He will watch his every move and just laugh right out loud.
- He has a hard time eating from a spoon because he wants to be looking at everything in the kitchen or grabbing everything on the counter.
- He eats 7 oz about every 3 hours & one meal of rice/baby food at night.
- He has been getting up at like 5:00 AM every morning. Fun, right?
- He can almost sit up all by him self. You just have to hold one of his hands. He can sit alone for about 10 seconds.
- He wants to crawl so bad. He just lays on his tummy and rocks back and forth until he moves a little.
- He wears 3-6 month clothes and can fit in a few 6-9 months.
- He loves me to sing "Hush Little Baby" to him. I don't know why but it always calms him down.
- He got really sick with his last shots and had a fever of 103. :(

-He loves to stand on his feet

-He does really well at sleeping in his own crib. He has been doing this since he was about 3 1/2 months old

-He loves bath time & will suck on a rag the whole time

-No matter how mad or sad he is, he will ALWAYS smile for his daddy

A few weeks ago we headed up to SLC for a party for Austin & Ty's work. We went to the party Fri night, spent the night in SLC, slept in for the first time in months and went shopping the next day. It was our first night away from little Cam but I know he had a blast in Richfield with all his grandparents & cousins. Thanks to Vivint for a fun night and to our families for tending. :)

RICE CEREAL - 4 MONTHS

Camden turned 4 months last week & is starting to want a bottle more often. He constantly stares at everything we eat and he tries to get our food into his mouth. So, we figured it was time for him to start eating a little rice! He loves it. I would give him a spoonful and he would lean forward with his mouth open. He acted like he's eaten from a spoon for a long time.

At 4 months, Camden:

- Weighs 14.5 pounds

- Still sleeps through the night but has been loving getting up for the day at 6:00 AM

- Grabs anything he can reach, puts it in his mouth & throws it

- Will only use the Playtex Binky's

- Loves rice cereal

- Has started rolling.. even back to belly

- Destroys his play mat (He will throw his arms and legs everywhere until the whole thing falls apart)

- Falls asleep every time we get in the car

- Still loves cartoons & watching things on our phones

- Eats 6 oz of milk about every 2.5 - 3 hours

- Talks CONSTANTLY... loud!

- Doesn't cry when we wakes up in the mornings. He just lays in his crib and babbles and kicks his feet.

When Camden was two weeks old I took him to get his newborn pictures. Lets just say it was a DISASTER! He would not sleep for longer then 2 minutes and he went to the bathroom multiple times with no diaper on, ha ha. It took us 4 hours to get about 8 pictures. But, it was worth it because they turned out so cute and you would never know he was acting naughty. I just love them. Even though he looks so innocent, peaceful and pleasant in these pics... just know that he wasn't. :)

I am surprised all the pictures didn't turn out like this one :) Also, in my last post I forgot to mention the fact that after Camden's blessing he went to bed at 5:45 PM & woke up the next morning at 7:30 AM. HAHA, we must have REALLY worn him out.

September 18th, 2011 was our sweet Camden's blessing day. It turned out to be a perfect day with great friends and family. Austin blessed him in the Richfield 6th ward (my parents ward) and he did such a great job! I'm thankful for Austin and the wonderful blessing he gave Camden. After church we had a luncheon at the park. The day was perfect and we are so blessed to have so many people that love Camden as much as we do :)

3 MONTHS

Cam is now past the 3 month mark. He is no longer considered a newborn. He's getting to be such a big boy. He is the best baby and we are having more fun with him each day. Right before he turned 3 months we took him to the dr. and this is what we found out:

12.7 lbs - 40%

24.41 in - 71 %

15.7 head circumference - 24%

So basically ...... Cam is long and skinny! ha Here our some more facts about him at 3 months:

- He finally sleeps through the whole night. :) He'll usually goes to bed around 10:00 and wakes up about 7:30.

- He LOVES his swing

- He takes around 3 -4 naps a day

- He loves splashing in the bath tub

- He loves to get lotion put on.. especially on his face

- Hes now in size 2 diapers

- He usually only takes a binky when it's nap time or bed time

- He's been on an airplane twice

- He giggles when you tickle his sides or armpits & is always so happy in the mornings

- He usually only cries when he's hungry or tired

- He went on his first boat ride this week & did not like the cold water :(

- He loves to watch cartoons in the mornings... especially Fhineas and Ferb & Handy Manny Ha

- He's a great little traveler

We our having such a fun time with little Cam and we are sure glad he's in our lives.

Last Sunday we went to the Norfolk Tides game. They played the Gwinnett Braves and the weather ended up being perfect for a baseball game. It was a lot of fun and even Cam loved the game. I'm glad we have such good friends out here with us. :)

A couple Sundays ago we spent the day at Busch Gardens with our friends. It was a lot of fun other then the fact that it was really hot. Tina was visiting us so she came along. Becuase we had our sweet little Cam with us, we didn't get to ride a ton of rides but I'm still glad we went.

EIGHT WEEKS

Our little bugs will be eight weeks on Sunday. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. Each day he becomes more fun. He's smiling all the time, learning to play with toys, and has the cutest little personality. We are so lucky to have him in our lives and we wouldn't know what to do with out him. He brings so much joy to our little family.

At eight weeks Cam:

- loves to get his hair done and played with.

-loves bath time but HATES getting out of the tub.

- absolutely hates the hiccups and he gets them at least once a day. He will fuss the whole time he has them.

- has started focusing on toys and trying to grab at them.

- drools everywhere and loves to suck on anything he can get his hands on.

- eats 4 oz about every three hours.

- has already lived in St. George, Richfield & Virginia Beach

- has been on his first airplane ride, which ended up being a seven hour flight. :(

- loves to be in his bouncy chair and sleeps better in it then he does in his bed.

- loves to stare and focus in on his daddy.

- will always fall asleep on a car ride or stroller ride.

- is definitely spoiled and loves to be played with, held & have lots of attention.

The first Saturday that I got here Tim McGraw was playing at a amphitheater just down the street from of us. So, of course Brandi and I had to go. :) It worked out perfectly because Tina was still here so she kindly volunteered to tend Cam until Aus got home. The Band Perry & Luke Bryan opened for him. The concert was such a BLAST. We had so much fun. There were SO many people there & We lucked out by getting great seats. Tim had broken his ankle the night before in concert so I was kind of bummed because he couldn't dance or get around much. He slowly walked back and forth the stage with a cast and cane but the concert was still awesome. He was still so much fun to watch. I'm so glad we went. Thanks Tina for watching Cam.

4th of July weekend

The 4th of July is probably my favorite holiday of the year, especially when I'm in Richfield to celebrate it. This year I was staying at my moms with little Cam so we got to be to all the celebrations. On Saturday we went to the kiddie parade and watched my cute nephews ride their bikes in it. Afterwards we all went to dinner. Sunday we went to church and later had a BBQ and fireworks at my moms. Then on Monday we got up early and went to the parade, hung around at the park, went to lunch, and then went to watch fireworks. It was Cam's first 4th of July and it was definitely a good one. The only thing missing was his daddy. We sure missed Aus but luckily we are out here with him now and very grateful for that. :)

Baby Camden

I have not posted in a really long time and I figured it is time to blog about our sweet baby boy! He was born two days late on May 29th, 2011 at 6:40 pm. Luckily, Austin came home from Iowa on the 26th so we had a few days to prepare for the little guy. We were so glad when we went in on that Sunday morning and they kept us. We called our families and everyone came down. Everything went really smoothly and he was very healthy. He weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20.5 inches long. We stayed in the hospital until the next afternoon and then we headed home. :) We have loved having him. He is so sweet and we could not ask for a better baby. He is now four weeks old and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by.

- loves bath time
- thinks he can hold his own head up
- has not lost any hair
- only really cries when he is starving
- sleeps for 5 hours at a time in the night (thankfully)
- loves to be outside & going on walks
- weighs 9 and 1/2 pounds
- doesn't fit in newborn clothes anymore
- loves to lay in his boppy
- pees through all diapers except for pampers swaddlers
- loves to lay in his swing
- will go on his first airplane next week to see dad
- has many cousins who just love him :)

We are so happy that we have this little guy and could not imagine life without him!

Now that April is almost over, I figured I better hurry and blog about last month.. MARCH! During Austin's spring break we went to Las Vegas with our friends Brandi and Ty. We had such a blast and the weather was perfect. The boys worked most days while Brandi and I layed by the pool and relaxed. We ate at some really fun places, went to Mystere & shopped until we dropped. We had a lot of fun and I'm so glad we have such good friends.

Also in March my friends from high school threw me and Taryn a shower in Richfield. We always have so much fun when we get together. We sat around and talked, laughed until we cried, ate a lot of food, and stayed up way to late. It was so much fun. Thanks girls for coming and for the sweetest gifts. :)

The baby is still doing well and everything looks great. Only 4 1/2 weeks left! :)

BABY SOMERS

Well I'm officially the WORST blogger ever. I am awful. But I'm going to start blogging more, i promise! One main reason I am going to blog more is because we are going to have someone other then ourselves to blog about... OUR SWEET BABY BOY! We are going to be having a baby on May 27th, 2011 and we couldn't be more excited. We love going to the Dr and getting our ultrasounds. Its so neat to see our little boy move and wiggle around. We just love him.

I'm now 24 weeks so he is much bigger now then he is in this ultrasound. I want to keep track of the pregnancy so here are some facts about it:

- I was sick for the first 3 months. Being nauseous all day long was horrible. I'm glad it went away :)
- I haven't had any cravings but I do love fresh fruit.
- I have given up Diet Coke - i'm sure this is temporary, ha! But for now i'm fine without it.
- We've already had 4 ultrasounds and we love being able to watch him.
- During his ultrasounds he moves the WHOLE entire time. He never sits still. NEVER!
- I can feel him moving around a lot but it's not consistent yet.
- I've been trying to go to the gym 3 times a week and it always makes me feel better.
- Right now I usually feel pretty good. I'm enjoying this while it lasts, ha!
- We have less then 16 weeks until he gets her. :)

I feel too behind on all the other events that have happened (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween) to post about them ha ha. So from now on I'll just stay caught up and post more often. Everything else is going good as well. Austin is still going to school and I am FINALLY done. We both work a lot and we are loving the weather here in St. George. :)

FINALLY summer school is over and I actually have time to blog. It feels like we have been so busy this summer. We've been to Richfield a couple of times for the 4th of July, 24th of July and a softball tournament. We love going there on weekends and getting out of the St. George heat. But, we are enjoying St. George and we LOVE our house! It has taken us forever to decorate and buy everything we need. In fact, we only have like two rooms done. ha ha! I know, I am a terrible blogger. It's mainly because my camera has broken but I have a NEW one now so I have no excuses. May has been a big month for us. We are officially living in St. George now in our new house. I got a new job. Cadie graduated from Richfield High. Austin turned 23. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary. Jerrica and sweet Addy came and stayed with us. Also, at home my brother in law is running for Sevier County Sheriff. Go NATE!

NEW HOUSE:
We bought a new house about a month ago and we LOVE it. I don't have very many pictures yet because I want to wait until everything is organized and decorated. :)

CADIE'S GRAD:

Cadie graduated last Tuesday. We traveled home to Richfield for the day and the family had a BBQ afterwards. We had such a good time and we are so proud of Cadie. Congrats Cad!!

AUSTIN'S BIRTHDAY:

Austin turned 23 this month. Unfortunately I had to work all day but his family came down for the day and we went to Texas Road House. Afterwards Aus and I went and got ice cream and went up to Dixie Rock. Also, the night before we went to Iggy's with a couple friends. :) He got some new golf clubs and shoes!

OUR ANNIVERSARY:

We celebrated 2 years together. Crazy huh? Time has gone by so fast. I had to work again on our anniversary so we celebrated it the night before by going to dinner. I got a new camera which I LOVE!! I am so happy to be married to Aus. He's such a hard worker and I just love him!

JERR & ADDY's VISIT:

Jerr and Addy stayed two nights with us. I had to work again ha ha but I am so glad they came. We had a blast playing with sweet Addy and I hope they visit again!!

This weekend was Shauntae and Cory's wedding! It turned out sooo pretty and was such a wonderful day. We are so happy for the two of them and Shauntae was beautiful bride. Too bad I didn't get any pictures of her or any of the line but I'm sure they we'll get posted soon... It was a perfect day and we loved seeing old friends. :) Congrats Shaun and Cory! We LOVE you!

EASTER

My last post was Feb. 3rd! Wow, I am a terrible blogger.. ha! Not only has my blog been neglected but so has my husband, my house, my car, my life... and this list could go on forever. To top it all off, my camera is BROKEN. Anyways, Easter weekend was such a great weekend minus the fact that Austin and I were both sick. On Friday night we headed up to Mt. Carmel to go hike Zion Saturday morning.. Well just my luck.. I was sick all night long. Austin and I ended up driving to Richfield Saturday morning. During our stay in Richfield we celebrated my cute little nephews 3rd birthday, colored Easter eggs, went bowling with Austin's family & had a picnic with my family. We headed home Sunday and we are finally starting to feel better. :)

JANUARY

I have been avoiding blogging because I have no pictures to post, but I gave in. I figured I better post something so everyone knows we are still alive. I can't believe January has already come and gone, it flew by. We are both back in school and working. It seems like all we ever do at our house is homework, study and wake up early... which is all NO FUN! However, we love the weekends and we are very excited for spring. We have so many fun things to look forward to this spring and summer... warm weather, the lake, Shauntae's wedding, finishing school (finally), vacations, Cadie's graduation, Richfield's 4th of July, and spring break! Now if it would just stop being cold and warm up everything would be great! :)

CHRISTMAS

We had such a wonderful, relaxing Christmas day! We spent Christmas Eve with Austin's family at the Duffin's. We had a good turkey and ham dinner. Then, we went to my house to unwrap pajamas and await for Santa. The kids were soo hyper and out of control, ha ha but it was a lot of fun. We all got up about 7 and let the kids see what Santa brought. They loved everything they got and were so happy. I'm so glad we have such good families to be with during these times. After having breakfast at my parents, we headed to Austin's and had a second Christmas! We unwrapped gifts and had a good lunch. Sadly, later that day my grandma had to be rushed up north to the hospital. She also had an emergency surgery Christmas night, which scared all of us. Luckily, she is strong and the surgery went well. She is still up there and recovering quickly. Overall, we had a wonderful day and got to spend the whole rest of the weekend in Richfield. We enjoyed our time home and the break! :) Kaylen got a bike! He loved it :)

I cannot believe this year is already over! It was our second year together and it was definitely a good one. We have gotten to see and do a lot of cool things so I want to recap and write down everything we've done so I never forget :) Sorry, this will be a long boring post with no pictures.
*JAN: We went on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada & San Diego. Started spring semester of school at SUU.
*FEB: I got a new job at SUU which let me spend more time at home and focus more on school.
*MARCH: Spent spring break in Mesquite with our friends. Went to a Jazz game with Brandi and Ty.
*APRIL: We packed up as much stuff possible, used a million space bags, and moved across the country. It took us 2 full days and nights until we finally arrived in Devon, PA (Philadelphia)
*MAY: Austin started selling door to door in the Philadelphia area. We celebrated our first anniversary by going to a Philly's vs. Nationals baseball game. I ate my first original Philly cheese steak sandwich from a VENDOR! We celebrated Austin's birthday by going to Champs with our friends. We visited the Historic District in downtown Philadelphia and got to see the Liberty Bell. We met Landon and Che! :) I got a job at Buckle. Krysta came to visit and we went to Love Park. Went to Atlantic City, NJ and walked the board walk.
*JUNE: Tricia and my mom came to Philadelphia to visit. We went to New York, Washington D.C., Valley Forge, Lancaster, PA and Gettysburg. We saw a real Amish buggy and people. We went to Gettysburg. I rode on my first Amtrak train. We layed by the pool every Sunday. We ate at Five Guys for the first time and LOVED it.
*JULY: Che and I went to the 4th of July parade in the Historic District. All our friends went to a Sheryl Crow concert and watched fireworks off the Rocky Balboa stairs. Realized traffic in Philadelphia sucks. (15 miles = 2 hrs.) Dropped off Austin in downtown Philly to sale and cried, ha! We went to Ocean City, NJ twice to play in the beach. Austin, Ty, and Trav went to the U.S. Open in New York. They brushed shoulders with Tiger Woods and were very proud about it. Didn't celebrate the 24th of July, quit my job at buckle and we moved to Arlington, VA.
*AUG: Lived in a house with Brandi and Ty, Amy and Shaun and sometimes Skye and Adam. Went to the Washington D.C. Zoo and saw pandas. Went to the Washington D.C. temple which was beautiful. Went to the Arlington Cemetery, the white house, the Washington Monument, Abraham Lincoln Memorial, Holocaust Museum, and many other museums. Fell in love with Noodles and Co. I flew to Las Vegas where my mom and Tricia picked me up. We went to the Jersey Boys play and then drove home to UTAH! Austin moved to Virginia Beach, VA and continued selling alarm systems. I moved back to Cedar City and started school while Austin took online classes. I started working at SUU again.
*SEP: Brandi and I flew to Virginia Beach to visit our husbands. I stayed for 3 days and went to the beach two of those days. Cried the hardest I've ever cried when I left Aus to go back home.
*OCT: Aus finally came home. He drove 38 hours with little sleep. We went to Caliente, NV for the high school reunion. We went to the UNLV vs. UTAH football game in Las Vegas. We celebrated my 23rd birthday. We went to a Halloween party at Josh and Sunny's. Austin got a job at a bank in St. George!
*NOV: We celebrated Thanksgiving in Richfield and had two turkey dinners. Austin played with some friends in the Richfield annual turkey bowl. Got iphones :)
*DEC: Austin's great grandma Christy died. We went to the funeral in Pioche, NV. Went to Salt Lake city for Braden's wedding. Went to the Salt Lake temple and the Richfield lights parade. Celebrated Christmas in Richfield with our families.
We had a wonderful year and we are excited to see what 2010 has in store!! :) Sorry I didn't post about Christmas, I will when I get pictures from Tricia. Hope everyone has a great New Year!

Ugly Sweater Party..

This year our friends decided to have a Christmas party! Not only did we have a Christmas party but we had an ugly sweater Christmas party. It was sooo funny! We had such a good time and laughed alot. I must say, I think Austin looks pretty good in women's holiday sweaters with shoulder pads, ha ha maybe he should purchase a few more! :) The food was EXCELLENT and we got way too full. Were so glad we have such good friends and we are loving the holidays. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday! Merry Christmas!!

Richfield Lights Parade...

Last Saturday Austin and I headed to Richfield for the lights parade and to hang out with our families. I have always LOVED the lights parade and I just couldn't miss it, ha! We all had such a good time, especially the babies. ( Yes, I still call them "the babies" and there almost 3, ha ha) Also, we are done with school for a couple weeks and we are ready to enjoy our break. Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break was much needed and very relaxing! We headed to Richfield on Tuesday night and stayed until Saturday. We had such a great time with our families and we are sad the break is over. We got to eat two thanksgiving dinners on Thursday, lucky us, ha! We were stuffed but loved the food. We went with Austin's family to the Duffin's and then afterwards went to my mom's! We got to see lots of family and cousins, which was great :) I forgot to take pictures but luckily Shaun took a ton! ha Oh and I have to mention that I woke up at 4 A.M. and went to black Friday and I'm still sore.. ha no carts were left! It was so funny and I think I'll do it again next year! But, we had a wonderful week and we are so thankful for our families and all they do for us. I don't know where we'd be without them. I have not blogged in a really long time and it's because I don't have much to blog about. Our lives are pretty boring... school and work is not very exciting. This last weekend we did go to sunny Mesquite for a softball tourney that Austin was in. It was so nice to be in the sun and being able to relax. Unfortunately, I forgot the camera.. sorry! So... what have we been up too? Well first off since this weather is hot one day and cold the next, we took advantage of a hot one and went golfing with our friends.. Austin's new hobby is golfing! He's obsessed with it.Also, a couple of weeks ago we had Heidi's bridal shower at Pepperbellies. It was so much fun and was great seeing all my old friends. Mostly everyone was there and it was like things had never changed.Austin got a new job!! He's had it for a while now and he loves it. He works in St. George which is kind of hard cuz he has to travel every day but at least he likes it and it's a great job. :) I'm so proud of him!And lastly...... Yes, I have my Christmas tree up! YAY! I couldn't wait any longer.

LAS VEGAS

This past weekend we went to Vegas for a little vacation. We got tickets to the Utes vs. UNLV game and made a trip out of it. Tricia, Kamie and Kaylen picked us up Friday afternoon and we headed down. We stayed at the Excalibur, walked up and down the strip, shopped, ate way too much, and went to the Utes game. We had great seats at the game and I loved every minute of it. The whole trip was alot of fun, especially having little Kaylen there. He was so excited he didn't even know what to do with himself. He stayed up way to late and woke up way to early.. ha ha! He absolutely loved the water show at the Bellagio (as you can see by his huge grin in all the pictures). I already miss him so much and am sad the trip is over, but I'm so glad we went. We had a blast!

Austin has been home for about a week and half now and it has been great! I'm so glad he is finally home, I missed him so much. Every since he's been home, we've been going non stop. He got here last friday and that same day we headed to Lincoln County for the 100th year celebration. We went to the homecoming football game, got to visit with his grandparents and family, and toured the town of Caliente. I had been to Pioche and Lincoln county a couple time but never to Caliente. They showed me where they used to live and told lots of funny stories about growing up there.

Suprisingly, we had lots of fun over there and we loved spending time with his family! This last weekend we headed up to Scofield for the weekend. The whole summer Austin just kept saying that when we get home we're going straight to the cabin, so we did! Brandi, Ty, Austin and I headed up Friday night and Lana and Tyson met us there on Saturday. We had a blast. On Saturday morning we went four-wheeling, carved our names in a tree, and got pulled over, ha ha! After Tyson and Lana got there we had lunch and went on a ride in the scout. Yes, all six of us fit in the bright orange scout. Later we played games, had steak dinner, watched a scary movie, and went to bed. The next day we all enjoyed watching Tyler try and outsmart the ducks and geese. ha ha! We lounged all day, ate food and watched football. We had a great weekend and are so happy that Austin is home!

Alright, so I know Alyse already posted about this but I wanted to post about it also so here it goes... On Saturday we had a baby shower for Krachelle and Brittani. We had lots of fun, ate too much junk food, laughed until we cried, and almost had a slumber party. ha ha! Its so fun to get together with all our old friends. Well first off, I have to tell everyone how excited I am to be home!! It feels great and i've been having so much fun, but at the same time I miss Austin soo much. It's going to be hard being away from him for a while but it'll be worth it. I am so proud of him and all his hard work. Hopefully he won't be gone too much longer cause I really miss him! Anyways, I've been home almost two weeks now. I worked all last week in Cedar City and start school on monday, but I will definatly be coming home for the weekends! This weekend Nate and Hollie went to fishlake so, Tyson, Jerrica and I drove up last night. We made smores, hung out, laughed a little too much, and watched a movie. We had a lot of fun! I've loved being home and spending time with my family. I've gotten to spend lots of days with my cute nephews....

Last week Brandi's mom was here visiting so of course we went touring. No matter how much you tour here, you could never see it all. We took the metro downtown, walked by the white house, visited the Washington Monument, Abe Lincoln memorial, and then walked to see the capitol. We were a little tired but luckily it wasn't a very hot day. The weather was actually perfect. The next day we went to the Holocaust musuem. I'm so glad I got to visit that. It was such a neat place. Those poor people went through so much. After the musuem we went to Arlington Cemetery again and walked around. We had so much fun and I'm so glad I got to visit those neat places.

The weekends come and go by way to fast out here. Maybe it's because Austin's weekends only consist of one day, Sunday! This Sunday we decided to go to Arlington National Cemetery. Besides the fact that it was way too hot, we had a lot of fun. We walked around, went and saw the Tomb of the Unknown, changing of the guards, General Lee's house, and JFK's grave. The cemetery has such a neat feeling and we are so glad we got to see it. For other news, I'm headed home in a week!! I can't believe it's already time to leave and start school again. We've had such a fun summer and I'm so glad we got to see and do the things we have. I'm so so excited to see my family but at the same time, so sad to leave sweet Austin here! I'm going to miss him.

Last week our office decided to moved to D.C. for the last couple months of the summer. We've really liked it here so far. It's alot nicer and cleaner then Philadelphia! ha It's so crazy thinking how close we are too so many neat things. Well since we had so much fun last week at the beach, we decided to go again! We wanted the boys to be able to come with us so we went on Sunday. We left that morning and drove to Ocean City, NJ. First off, our summer is going great! We are having a lot of fun out here and have made some awesome friends. We'll be so glad to go home and be with our families again but we are liking it out here. I honestly can't believe it is the middle of July and I will be coming home in a month. Austin will be staying out here until sometime in September so i'll be coming home alone. On other news, we've been doing lots of fun things lately. On Sunday we all layed out at the pool, went to South Street, bowling, and then to P.F. Changs! Here are a few pictures:

On Tuesday, Brandi, Amy, Che, and I all packed up and drove to the beach. We went to Ocean City, NJ which is about an hour and a half away. We packed a cooler full of lunch and snacks, played in the ocean, layed out, and laughed all day long. The weather was perfect which made it a great day! We have been able to do so many neat things out here and my summer has been so much fun. It will be a definate reality check when i come back home and have to wake up early for school! ha ha! 4TH OF JULY

Our 4th of July was definatly different this year, but we had a great time! Even though we missed our families and the Richfield festivities, we're so glad we got to spend the 4th here. It was amazing to be in Philadelphia during this holiday. Austin and the guys had to work so Che and I took off early for the Historic District. We listened to a reinactment in front of Independence Hall, watched the best parade EVER, and had a blast... the parade was so neat.

After the parade we headed to Chili's for lunch then waited for the guys to get off work. After they were home we all headed downtown again. We went to "the largest free celebration in America". I would definatly agree it was the largest, I have never seen so many people in my life.. We watched Sheryl Crow perform live and then watched the fireworks. Oh and don't worry that it took us about an hour and a half to get home (15 miles). Overall, we had a great day and are so glad we live in a free country! :)

This last sunday we wanted to just kind of relax, therefore we went to the pool and layed out :) It was very relaxing and fun! After laying out, we decided to go hit range balls. Last sunday Austin, Ty and Trav went to the U.S. Open. They woke up at 4 a.m. and drove to NYC all just to see tiger ha ha! They had a great day and luckily the weather was pretty good. They had a blast watching Tiger and all the others play. Austin said he almost brushed shoulders with Tiger, and they definatly made eye contact. ha ha! He was pretty excited about it. I'm so glad they had fun! The sad thing is, they didn't let him take a camera in so he didn't get any pictures... Other then that life has been about the same. We're still liking it out here!! Brandi and I try and keep ourselves busy, ha! We went to the proposal last week and we loved it. I definatly recommend it :) It was soo good! VACATiON-GETTYSBURG & AMiSH COUNTRY

Well.. it has taken me three days to post about this vacation, as well as three days to recover. ha ha! We were literally going nonstop. We were all exhausted and had aching bodies. ha, But it was worth it, we got to go and see so many cool things. On the last day, Austin was able to come with us. So we drove to Gettysburg and on the way, we stopped in Lancaster to check out the Amish! It was so crazy to see how differently people live. We seen lots of little buggies driving around and luckily my mom had read alot about the amish, so she told us everything! When we arrived to Gettysburg we took the tour of the town and visited all the battlefields and monuments. It is a really neat little town. We had so much fun and i'm so glad my mom and sister got to come and visit. Even though I was very very sad when they left, I am glad they came. We had a blast and laughed the whole entire trip. VACATiON-NEW YORK CiTY

On the second day of the trip, we stayed in Philadelphia. We went downtown and visited the liberty bell, independance hall, and congress hall. We also went to visited Valley Forge. We had a fun day, even though it rained and we were all so tired from walking. I won't post to many pictures of the second day since i've already posted pictures from the first time i went. The third day we headed to New York City. It was awesome. Once again we started the day at 6 a.m. by heading to the train station. Once we arrived in NY, we took a cab to Battery Park where we took the statue of liberty tour. This was so neat and a very pretty view. Next we walked up broadway street. We stopped at wall street and ground zero. We probably walked a total of six miles, ha! Then we went rockafeller center and times square. Times square was my favorite. We seen the MTV building and David Letterman building. We had so much fun! Next post (day 4).. Gettysburg and Amish country :)

As most of you know, my mom and sister, Tricia, came to stay with me. They stayed almost a week and we went to so many neat places. So, this will be a very long post so i'm breakin it up into three seperate ones. I picked them up from the airport on Wednesday afternoon. We had a lot planned for us so we started the next day bright and early (5 a.m.) We had train tickets to Washington DC for 7 a.m. Once we got to Washington DC we hopped on a tourmobile that took us to all the neat places. We had such a fun time and laughed so hard everyday. It rained all day. We were soaking wet, went through 3 umberellas, and were absolutely exhausted when we made it back to my apt late Thursday night. Here our some pictures of our first day....

This weekend came and went by way to fast... Saturday night we went to Chili's with the office. Sunday we got up early and went to church, the phillies game, and later went to hooters with our friends. The phillies game was awesome. Besides the fact that we roasted, ha we had so much fun! The lady next to us really wanted to get on the Jumbotron so she kept pointing to us yelling to the camera man, "They are mormons from Utah, it's their first Phillies game, they need to be on the big screen." Ha ha it was so funny. Thankfully, we didn't get on the screen. Some of our friends birthdays were this past week so we all went to Hooters to celebrate. We had lots of fun and are so glad we have good friends out here! We had a great weekend and wish everyday was Sunday ha. But, I cannot wait until tomorrow... my mom and sister are coming to visit!! We are going to Washington D.C., New York, and Gettysburg. So i'll definatly have some good posts. Last sunday we decided to go to Atlantic City with Josh, Sunny, Hailey, Brandi and Ty! We went to check out the beach and walk the boardwalk. We ate lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and then just walked around, shopped, and took lots of pictures! I even collected a few sea shells.. ha. HiSTORY IN PHiLLY

So, everything in Philly is going great! Although we do miss our families, we are having a great time. We really like it out here. We are so glad we have such good friends with us. There is so much to see and do. Austin is doing an awesome job at selling and i'm so thankful for all the hard work he's doing. He actually likes doing it so i'm happy for him! Even though we don't get to spend alot of time together, we have gotten to do and see some cool things. Last week we rode the train to downtown Philly and visited the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Conference Hall and we even ate a philly cheesesteak sandwhich straight from the vendor.. ha ha! Today Brandi and I went to Valley Forge and took the tour. It was way cool to see all that and learn the history behind it. We've gotten to visit the Love Park, fallen in love with a great restaurant called Bahama Breeze, gotten used to the idea that all the convienant stores are called WAWA, found a cool little trail that we walk on everynight and have even learned to get around without the GPS! (Sometimes) It's definatly different out here but its growing on us :) I hope everyone is doing good back home and I can't wait for my mom and sister to come visit in two weeks.. YAY! It's been so long I don't even know where to start. School finished last week, which feels really nice. No homework or classes for 4 months!! We left last Wednesday morning and drove 36 hours to Philadelphia. Wow, what a trip! I thought we were never going to make it. ha ha but we did and we are really liking it :) Everything is going good out here.We have great friends out here with us and we've been having lots of fun. It has rained almost everyday since we've been here so we haven't got to see much, but once we do i'll start taking pictures. You don't realize how much of a desert Utah is until you come out here. It's so green with trees everywhere. Brandi took a few while we were driving to walmart so i'll post those.. Keep in mind that these pictures are the main roads in town. I'll keep you posted on everything!

Since lately i've only been posting once a month, ha i guess i'll just sum up the whole month of March! Lets see.. We had a great spring break with our friends. We went to Mesquite and stayed a few nights. It was such good weather we got to play in the pool all day and have a BBQ. Then we headed to Richfield Thursday night for Cadie's prom... She looked so cute and it was fun to hang out with the family. We also went to St. George a couple of days to watch Cadie play softball. This last weekend we went to the Jazz game... On the way home we stopped at Tyson and Lana's new house and played games and had pizza! We had a great month and we are looking forward to Easter with our familes, the summer away from Cedar City, and the last day of school ha ha!

Once again, its been weeks since i've blogged so sorry. ha! With my new job, i finally have weekends off so Austin and I have had some fun weekends. Valentines weekend was busy. We drove to Richfield on Friday with Brandi and Ty for the SS vs. Rich game! On Saturday I worked my last day at Maurices and then Austin and I went to Ninja, a japenese steakhouse. After we were so tired so we went and got ice cream and watched a movie :) It was great! Oh and my sweet mom and sisters sent me flowers at work. They're so nice. The next weekend we went to Richfield for the whole weekend. Austin had meetings in Provo on Saturday so i stayed home and hung out with my family. We met that night in Ephraim for the basketball games and then went to dinner with his family. A weekend with the family is always fun! We love our families and miss them alot. This last weekend was state basketball here in Cedar so we had lots of family and friends down. My family came down and his sister, Cadie, stayed with us. We had lots of fun. Thanks for a fun weekend everyone :) Oh and i didn't talk about the weekdays cuz there all the same, work and school... Boring! HA

First off, sorry it has taken me so long to blog. We're so busy with everything going on in our lives. Lately all we've been up to is school and work, nothing to exciting. Not only have we been busy with that but also, as most of you know, we've signed with Vision Security's. Austin is going to sale security systems this summer. So, he's been having lots of trainings, doing recruiting, and even selling. He's leaving me for a few days on Thursday. :( They're going to Florida for the weekend to sale! We feel like this is a great company and we love everyone who works for them. Austin loves it and I'm so happy for him! The best part of the whole situation is were going to BOSTON!! We are so excited and can't wait. Plus, Brandi and Tyler are coming, which makes it even better! :) Now all we need is the semester to end and this is what we have to look forward too....

This past week we went on a cruise to Mexico. We went to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada! We had a blast.. In Cabo we went parasailing, hung out on lovers beach, and rented sea doos. In Ensenada we went to the blow hole and toured the town :) We also fell in love with San Diego while we were there, ha! It was a perfect vacation and we are sad to be back to the real life.. school, work, snow, and the gym! ha ha

First off.. sorry it has taken me so long to update my blog! We've been so busy with finishing up this semester of school, working lots, all the holidays and trying to christmas shop! Even though we've been really busy, we've had lots of fun! We went home for Thanksgiving and had lots of fun with the family. My birthday was last wednesday and i had such a good day :) My sweet husband got me lots of clothes, house decorations, my cell phone, and he even tried to make a cake. This last weekend Austin and I finally got to go home to Richfield! It was so nice to be with our families and just relax.. no school or work :) On Saturday the girls and the kids went to a pumpkin patch in Elsinore. We went on a hay ride, picked some good pumkpins, and got all dusty! Ha but we sure had fun. On sunday, Austin's family had a cake for my birthday, which was very good. We are so glad we got to go home and spend some time with the fam. We love our families and can't wait for the next trip to rich...

Another weekend in Cedar has gone by and of course we both worked. We did manage to find sometime to have fun tho. Friday we went cosmic bowling with Ty and Brandi. And on Saturday it rained all day, but we went to the pizza factory and then watched a movie.

We love pizza factory.. yum yum!

FALL....

Tonight me, austin, brandi, and ty went and got gandolfo's sandwhiches and went up the canyon for a little picnic. Fall is my favorite season and we wanted to see the pretty red and orange leaves. It was lots of fun :) The canyon is so pretty and the food was great! ha ha I love autumn and can't wait for more of it to come.

TEMPLE NiGHT

Last night Me, Austin, Tyler and Brandi drove to St. George and went to the temple. Somewhere between homework, school, and work we found some time. ha ha But it was a neat expierence and we had such a good time. Afterwards we ate at my favorite place, olive garden and it was so yummy :) It was a great night!!

CEDAR CiTY

Okay, this is the first time i've blogged and trust me, it took me forever to get it set up. I'm excited about it though becuase I thought it would be a fun way to keep in touch with my family. As most of you know, me and Austin just moved to Cedar City to finish up school. I've always been the type to get homesick and miss my family so it's been kind of hard but luckily i have a wonderful husband who keeps me happy! I know this is where we need to be right now and it's been lots of fun so far. We both attend school full time and work part time so were always busy! We live in a cute two bedroom apartment thats pretty close to the school.. here's some pictures:
