This summer for Austins work, we headed to Indianapolis. Of course the only summer we're there, they break all sorts of records for high temperatures. It was the hottest summer in Indianapolis history. Not only was it hot, but it was dry. Really dry. They also broke the record for the driest month of June and they are in a serious drought. In other words it was one HOT and DRY summer but we still had a lot of fun. Camden and I kept ourselves busy with the other wives and kids. We had fun but we are sure glad to be back home with family! Here is a summary of what we did:
We went to the zoo several times:
We went to the Indians baseball game:
We went to the Pacers vs Heat basketball game:
We did a Vivint service project:
We spent A LOT of days at the pool:
We went to the Indy 500 and the Indy 500 parade:
We went to a fun lake:
We went to the fair:
We witnessed all the grass and everything green die :(
We celebrated the 4th of July:
We went to the White River State Park:
We will miss Indiana but not the weather! Overall, it was a great summer & we had a blast!!
